Our Story
Built on continuity, not volume.
Shinnecock Pools was founded in Southampton in 1988. What began as a small operation serving a handful of properties on the South Fork has grown into a full-service pool company covering ten communities across the East End, from Quogue to Montauk and up through the North Fork.
The growth was deliberate. We never expanded beyond the geography we could service well, and we never split the work between separate crews for building, renovating, and maintaining. The person who opens your pool in May is on the same team that poured the shell, and that continuity is the whole point.
Today the majority of our work arrives through an estate manager, a property manager, or an architect. We are comfortable in that structure: discreet on site, precise in writing, and finished before the season opens. Whether we are constructing a new custom gunite pool, restoring one from the early nineties, or running weekly chemistry on a property we have serviced for fifteen years, the standard is the same.

One Crew
No handoffs between departments. The team that builds your pool is the team that maintains it, and they already know where the valves are.
Honest Assessment
We begin each project by understanding first how you enjoy your pool, followed by a thorough assessment of the shell, hydraulics, equipment and hardscape. From here we prepare a detailed proposal tailored to your lifestyle and your pool.
Discreet, Documented
Written updates at each stage. A clean site each evening. Scheduling coordinated around the household, not around our convenience.

We hold certifications from the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance, the National Plaster Council, and the Northeast Spa and Pool Association. Our work has been recognized with NESPA Outstanding Achievement Awards and Dan's Best of the Best, and we have been a Quarter Century Club member for our sustained commitment to the industry.
We are members of the Long Island Pool and Spa Association and maintain Certified Building Professional and Certified Pool Operator designations. These are not decorations. They inform how we specify materials, balance chemistry, and engineer hydraulics on every project we take.
