Winter Care
Protecting Your Pool Doesn’t Stop When the Season Does.
From December through April, our Winter Care service provides attentive, monthly oversight of your pool throughout the off-season, protecting the water, equipment, and finishes while the property sits closed.
Off-Season Oversight
What a closed pool can’t tell you on its own.
Our technicians monitor the details that can easily go unnoticed during the winter months, helping protect your pool, equipment, and finishes while keeping the property secure and properly maintained.
Winter Care runs December through April, with one professional service visit each month.

What we check, every month, December through April.
During each Winter Care visit, our team will:
- 01Test and balance water chemistry using reagent-based testing, not standard test strips
- 02Monitor and adjust pool water levels as needed
- 03Pump excess water from the pool cover
- 04Remove accumulated leaves and debris
- 05Inspect, tighten, and adjust cover straps and hardware
- 06Replace damaged water bags, springs, or anchors as needed
- 07Inspect pool equipment and heaters, including checking for signs of rodent activity
- 08Apply necessary chemicals to help protect water quality and pool finishes
Why Winter Care Matters
Even closed, a pool keeps changing.
Even while your pool is closed, changing weather, precipitation, debris, and fluctuating water chemistry can create problems beneath the cover. Regular winter attention helps reduce the risk of cover damage, staining and calcium buildup, equipment issues, and unsafe cover conditions, while helping ensure your pool is well cared for when it’s time to reopen.

Frequently asked questions.
The questions homeowners most often ask before starting Winter Care. If yours is not here, it is a short conversation.
All QuestionsHow often do Winter Care visits happen?
Winter Care runs December through April, with one professional service visit scheduled each month.
What does a Winter Care visit include?
Every visit covers water chemistry testing and balancing, water level checks, pumping excess water off the cover, debris removal, cover strap and hardware inspection, and an equipment and heater check, including signs of rodent activity. Damaged water bags, springs, or anchors are replaced as needed.
Why does a closed pool still need attention in winter?
Changing weather, precipitation, debris, and fluctuating water chemistry can create problems beneath the cover even while the pool is closed. Regular winter attention reduces the risk of cover damage, staining and calcium buildup, equipment issues, and unsafe cover conditions, so the pool is well cared for when it is time to reopen.
